Offline Mobile Maps

Excellent app! The offline maps are really good and relatively small in size. If it just had tracking and waypoints, it would be the best mapping application around.

Love, Love, Love It!!!! I rarely do a review unless the app really makes an impression. This does more than that. It stores the maps locally so you can use it offline. I've also tested it & the GPS locator works & locates me even offline! Love it!!! The maps are detailed too & shows nearly shopping places & restos. Very impressive! I'll use this for my Europe trip this year.

Great. I researched and tried other free map apps, but none seemed to be what I wanted. Mapswithme, however, is perfect. It downloads selected maps to your iPad, and then you can use them offline. It allows you to zoom in to street level or zoom out. I have used it while driving. Amazingly, it also pinpointed where I was on the street - and I don't have the 3G/GPS iPad - so maybe it was getting wifi signals from people's houses? I don't know, but it was a nice feature! And it was fairly accurate, updating my location about every 20 seconds.

I used this app with the first release. I thought that maps work very quickly. But I understood that I was wrong when I updated app recently. This app works faster that before. Good work!

Absolutely amazing. A perfect companion when I travel. It's been a life-saver in Hong Kong, Tokyo and England. The only thing i miss is placing markers with comments. Would pay for this if it was available.

Great. No frills offline maps. Having spent the best part of a morning searching the AppStore for a app that just downloads maps for offline use, with no IAP map packs, and no extraneous nonsense, and failing. I am thrilled to find this app, and for free. Took about 90 seconds to download the 158mb of map data for England, will certainly be downloading relevant maps when travelling. Very happy.

Simple and Efficient. This just might be the bet free offline map app around. You can download pretty detailed maps of entire countries with a click. There's no route system, dropping pins, etc... but I don't need that, I just want a detailed offline map of the places I'll be travelling to and this app is perfect!

Fav travel app. This has become my most used travel app. Really enjoy it.

Excellent! Absolutely amazing program! Everything one needs while in the wild and without internet. The great fact is that you can use this app without internet, but with a gps which is all you need to travel no matter either by car or on foot!

Fav mapping program. It's great to be able to download a complete country map for use when touring around rather than having to think about finding wifi hotspots to download map tiles when you're away.

Does exactly what it says. I have used it a few times now and it is faster than any other map I have used both on my I pad and my Razr Maxx. Added plus is you DO NOT have to pay for every map.

The best! I use them on droid and ipad. And this app is excellent! Very helpful when no data is available.

Fast and smooth. Like it very much! Very detailed map. Navigation is smooth and comfortable. Precisely located my position on the map in my Kindle Fire (no GPS, no cellular connection!). Will make a diference for my next travel. Thank you guys!

I only downloaded this app yesterday thinking I may eventually find it useful in foreign travel. On my road trip today I forgot my printed map at home. my cell touchpad is frozen and I couldn't get to my reg map app. to the rescue, this app worked perfectly on my kindle fire and I got to the meeting on time. I can tell I'll be using this one alot!

Best map application I've seen on the Fire yet. Only downside is it is very spare on features: there is no way to mark locations or make annotations.
